I've bought the domain name world-of-warcraft.ws recently, and at my big surprise it already got some pagerank. I've a PR1 for world-of-warcraft.ws! There is some domain names out there with pagerank, this is fun because i didn't notice it got some.
Also buying old domain names are good for search engine algorithm. The aging factor of a domain name plays with your SERPS on google yahoo and msn for some keywords. The older the better ( just like wine)! For instance, when you type ' Website Promotion' on google. Most of the websites ranking in the TOP10 are old of 2 to 6 years. My site is young (6 months old), guess will have to wait a little bit more!
